Northwest Washington D.C. – This very old home was being redesigned by the owner. The dining room windows faced the street so fully functional privacy window treatments were required, so we designed and fabricated custom-made flat roman shades and pinch pleated panels. The hardware was carefully selected to match the pre-existing fixtures. A luxurious heavy Schumacher linen was selected in a transitional print which complimented the rooms design, while beaded weight at bottom hem helped the drapes hold their shape better.
